We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Setter for our chilled potato factory nightshift. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring that our production lines run smoothly and efficiently during the night hours, maintaining the high standards our customers rely on. Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain machinery within the chilled potato production lines during night shifts.
  • Carry out regular inspections and maintenance to guarantee optimal machine performance.
  • Monitor production processes to swiftly address any issues that arise, ensuring continuous operation.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines to protect yourself and your colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve output and quality goals.
  • Document machinery settings and modifications for tracking and quality assurance.
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and best safety practices.
  • Hours of Work: 23:00 - 07:30
  • Rate of Pay: £12.67 - £13.73 (after approx. 12 weeks training) + £1p/h shift allowance
  • Enhanced overtime rate

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Machine Setter in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial.
