Work Environment: Graveyard Schedule 5pm - 5:25am, 12-hour shifts (Alternative Work Schedule)

Job Scope

The Machine Operator is responsible for proficiently operating a Palletizer or Bagger at optimal speed, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Work Environment: Primarily indoors near operating equipment with loud noises, such as forklift horns and loose particles. Employees are required to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the Palletizer or Bagger machine as directed and trained.
• Perform routine adjustments, changeovers, and configurations for pallets or bags.
• Operate printers, layouts, and computer settings.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Configure product stacks.
• Maintain accurate and legible paperwork.
• Conduct machine changeovers.
• Ensure supplies are available for both bagger and palletizer, following FIFO rotation.
• Supply packaging materials as needed.
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Remove and store full pallets properly in the warehouse, ensuring they are damage-free.
• Repair damaged pallets or bags before the end of the shift.
• Communicate production status to the next shift.
• Coordinate with maintenance for major machine issues.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area clean and safe.
• Work overtime is mandatory and requires full participation.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures.
• Report safety hazards immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
• Participate in safety programs.
• Work 12-hour shifts on weekends.
• Operate a sit-down forklift.

Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
