The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for running fast-moving production lines within a highly pressurized manufacturing environment. Duties include setting up machines pre-production, operating the line during production, tool changes, cleaning machinery, and conducting quality checks.

You will also undertake basic maintenance of the machines. An understanding of basic mechanical engineering or manufacturing processes would be useful. Full training will be provided on both the process and the role, but a good mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.

Candidate Requirements

• Engineering/manufacturing operator background (ideal)
• Strong mechanical aptitude (qualifications or experience)
• Previous candidates have come from a vehicle mechanics background
• Willing to work shifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, pressurized environment
• Looking for a career within manufacturing
• Knowledge of plastics, ideally extrusion, would be beneficial
