Job Description

Prinsco in Beresford SD has an opening for an entry-level Machine Operator on 1st Shift (7:50 AM - 4:00 PM). This position starts at $18.25/hr and offers a $500 sign-on bonus. We provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a safe manufacturing environment, including:

  1. Roll plastic pipe onto coiling machine, tie with twine, and transport rolls/bundles to the designated staging area.
  2. Verify that finished goods meet Prinsco’s quality standards, and report defects or improper machine operations immediately.
  3. Cross-train into machine operation to develop new skills.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED with some work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work in a loud environment; lift up to 25 pounds consistently and 75 pounds occasionally; use hands and reach with hands/arms; stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for up to 2/3 of the workday; and have good distance, peripheral, and depth perception vision.
