Job Description:

The Recruitment Co is recruiting experienced Machine Operators / FLT Drivers for our client located in Haslingden.

As a key member of the Manufacturing Team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe running of your area within the production line to meet set targets to the required quality standard. Candidates MUST have a valid Counterbalance FLT license.

Responsibilities:

1. Machine utilisation and process management, including start-up, shutdown, and fault escalation.
2. Ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
3. Regular quality checks and reporting.
4. Waste management and reduction.
5. Compliance with health and safety regulations, including wearing PPE and reporting incidents.
6. Maintaining housekeeping standards.
7. Operating a Counterbalance truck.

Shift Pattern:

Rotating 3-week shift pattern: 12-hour days and nights, with an average of 40 hours per week. Shifts are from 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am. Candidates should live locally or have a car.

Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary: £14.13/hour (£29,390.40/year). After 12 months: £14.82/hour (£30,825.60/year). Fully skilled: £15.51/hour (£32,260.80/year).

Overtime paid at 1.5x weekday rate and 2x weekend rate. Holidays include 6.6 weeks per year, increasing with service. Pension scheme with 5% company contribution.
