Machine Operator (Finishing) required to work in Sheffield.

Job Purpose

• To ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the Finishing Machines.
• Reduce machine downtime for make-readies and breakdowns.
• Reduce running times while maintaining quality, as measured against targeted standards.
• Minimize waste related to reprints, monitored through Reprint Analysis.

General Responsibilities

• Comply with the Company’s Information Security Management System at all times.
• Follow all Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Participate proactively in developing and improving the Company’s Management Systems, including external standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and Health and Safety regulations.

Skills Required

• At least 2 years of Machine Operating experience.
• Manual handling skills, including lifting and stacking paper, following HSE guidelines.
• Good eyesight for detail.
• Flexibility with working hours, including overtime, weekends, and shifts.
• Ability to operate other machinery or assist as needed.
