HRGO Group is seeking a Machine Operative in Doncaster. The role involves safe operation of machinery, setting parameters, loading materials, and ensuring products meet quality standards. Training is provided, with a 12-hour shift pattern and potential long-term employment.

Day and night shifts on a 4-on-3-off or 3-on-4-off cycle, with opportunities to develop manufacturing skills within an established company.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Full training will be provided.
• Basic Maths and English skills required.
• Willing to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up machine parameters according to production requirements.
• Load and unload drums onto the pay-off stand.
• Load reels into the winding machine.
• Wind cable onto reels to specified lengths.
• Inspect products to ensure specifications are met.
• Complete timesheets and job cards accurately.
• Record production quantities and inspection results.
• Follow production instructions and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area.
• Keep pallet stacks and loading areas tidy.
• Work well in a team and independently when needed.
