Machine Operative – Snooker Textiles Manufacturing

Location: Stroud

Position: Full-Time | Temporary - Permanent Opportunity 06:00am/22:00pm rotating

Salary: £13.68 - £20.52

We are recruiting for ou client that manufactuers premium textiles used in the production of snooker and billiard table cloths — supplying professionals and venues worldwide. We're currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative to support our production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor textile machinery including looms, knitting machines, or finishing equipment.
  • Set up machines according to product specifications and production schedules.
  • Carry out routine checks to ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
  • Identify and report faults or material inconsistencies.
  • Work to production targets and maintain quality standards at all times.
  • Keep work area clean and adhere to health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile environment preferred (but not essential – full training provided).
  • Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work shifts (if applicable).
