Machine Operator Eccleshall £31,500 (Including shift allowance) Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights)

Week 1: 06:45hrs to 19:00hrs Monday to Thursday (4 days)
Week 2: 18:45hrs to 07:00hrs Monday to Wednesday (3 nights)

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our fast-growing manufacturing business based in Eccleshall. This is a permanent role on rotating shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and operating machines to deliver the production KPIs.

Key Tasks:

1. To Operate machinery as per the Standard Operating procedures.
2. To ensure hourly performance is monitored and recorded.
3. To identify and correct product quality issues.
4. To identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
5. To complete cleaning tasks as per standard operating procedures.
6. To record production data that ensures full product traceability.

Key Objectives:

1. To ensure that they always undertake their duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. To deliver 100% achievement of the production plan by ensuring material yield and machine availability is optimised.
3. To provide excellent levels of customer service always.
4. To ensure that products are produced 'right, first time every time'.
5. To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to the company health and safety and environment policies and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities:

1. To complete short interval control, to resolve issues that are impacting performance or alternatively escalate where issues are unable to be resolved without support.
2. To comply to Quality standards.
3. To support technical trials and projects.
4. To continuously challenge the status quo in relation to lost time and material losses.
5. To identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
6. To maintain 5's standards within the workplace.
7. To work to VODS.
8. To attend scheduled meetings on time.
9. To serve as and when requested to do so by your Shift Leader.
