Machine Operator

Temporary ongoing assignment
Leamington Spa
Days - Pay rate GBP14.03 per hour.
Shifts - Pay Rate GBP15.43 per hour.

Shifts

Starting on days and moving on to rotating shifts.

Days - 07.00-16.00 Mon-Thurs and 07.00-12.00 on Friday (30-minute break).
Shifts - 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday, and 14.00-22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (20-minute break). Rotating fortnightly.

39 hrs per week + possible overtime.

Our client is a leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their existing team on a temporary ongoing basis.

The Role:

• Operate and run press machines
• Manufacture components to a high standard
• Interpret and work to engineering drawings
• Use engineering measuring equipment such as Verniers, callipers, or Micrometers
• Maintain machinery by cleaning and ensuring it is in working order; check and order materials needed
• Work with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium
• Remove and clean finished parts ready for production
• Complete quality control checks
• Complete required documentation
• Adhere to tight deadlines and targets

The successful candidate will ideally have previous CNC bending or machine shop experience within a manufacturing organization.
