Qualifications

• GCSE en Maths et Anglais requis.

Responsibilities

• Configurer et opérer des rouleaux et des machines à fente selon les exigences de production.
• Charger et surveiller les fours pour assurer une opération sûre.
• Préparer les matériaux pour respecter les normes de qualité.

Our client, a long-established leader in precision engineering, delivering intelligent and cost-effective solutions to manufacturing industries worldwide is currently looking to hire a Rolling Mill Setter / Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating rolling mills, slitting machines, all within a busy factory environment.

The Rolling Mill Setter / Operator will:

• Set and operate rolling mills and slitting (shearing) machines in line with production requirements.
• Load and monitor furnaces to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Work with copper and silver metals, rolling them to precise thickness specifications.
• Ensure materials are prepared accurately and meet quality standards before progressing to the next stage of production.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-conscious work environment in a busy factory setting.

The Rolling Mill Setter / Operator will have:

• GCSE Grade C (Level 4) minimum in both Maths and English . Apprenticeship /HNC grad would be ideal.
• High attention to detail and ability to stay focused on a task for a prolonged period.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ideally has experience with ERP systems like SAP.
• High mechanical understanding.
