Annual Salary: £27,500
Working Hours: 2-week rotation
Early shift: 06:00 to 14:30 Mon-Thu, 06:00 to 13:30 Fri
Late shift: 14:00 to 22:30 Mon-Thu, 13:00 to 20:30 Fri

Scope of the Role:
As an Operator, you play a vital role in the success of our business. Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery to manufacture high-quality plastic components. Support efficient production by ensuring consistent output, minimizing downtime, and following established safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and production schedules.
2. Carry out machine start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
3. Monitor the quality of output, checking for defects or deviations from specifications.
4. Complete production documentation accurately, including batch records and machine logs.
5. Assist with material handling, including loading raw materials and unloading finished products.
6. Conduct regular checks to ensure the proper functioning of safety guards and emergency stops.
7. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and inefficiencies.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or machine-operating environment.
2. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
3. Strong awareness of workplace Health & Safety.
4. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shift work.
