Kinetic Recruitment are looking for a Machine Operator for a client based in Trafford Park.

Our client are a manufacturer specialising in plastic fabrications and laminates, supplying high-quality bespoke products to a variety of sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a hands-on production role.

The successful candidate must have previous experience operating machinery and be available to work 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a temporary, on-going opportunity with potential to go permanent for the right person.

Responsibilities:
Operating edge banding machinery to apply edging to plastic panels and laminated components
Feeding panels into machinery
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
Quality checking finished products to ensure high standards are met
Carrying out basic machine maintenance and reporting any faults
Working to daily production targets and deadlines
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed on the shop floor
Keeping the work area clean and organised
Assisting with other general production duties as required

Requirements:
Previous experience operating an Edge Bander or working in a similar manufacturing or joinery environment
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks when needed

What the position offers:
12.50 per hour
Full training
Working hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
