Little Enterprises is searching for an experienced CNC Machinist with knowledge of CNC Lathe/Vertical and Palletch systems to join the team at their main facility north of Boston in Ipswich, MA. This is a four-day full-time overnight position.

Picture yourself working in their clean, air-conditioned, modern 52,000 square-foot production plant! You will be working on state-of-the-art equipment. You will be manufacturing a variety of precision components used in military combat equipment, medical equipment, and various aerospace industry applications. Job Summary: Any candidate interested in being a machine operator should be highly motivated and able to multitask. A machine operator should work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality, using standard procedures designed to maximize product quality. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality components. This job requires attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Must be able to perform simple machine set-ups
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
• Must be able to monitor scrap rates
• Must be able to inspect parts in accordance with procedures
• Basic understanding of different cutting tools and their usage
• Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
• Understand production requirements
• Basic understanding of Lean principles
• Must be available to work overtime if required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education & experience
• Experience with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus, but we will train
• Basic math skills

Physical & Environmental Conditions:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and kneel without difficulty
• Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push 50 lbs
• Exposure to loud noises
• Working in the presence of fork trucks and other manufacturing machinery
