Machine Operator / Mechanic

Continental Days & Nights (2 Days/2 nights/4 off with 10 day breaks)

gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Process Technician / Shift Mechanic to work at their facility based near Wrexham.

Performance Objectives

  • Achieve target reliability on assigned Line(s).
  • Accurate use of ICONICS to track performance.
  • Adherence to SAP Production Plan.
  • Completion of TPM activities on assigned Line(s).
  • Record & minimise Spoilage on assigned Line(s).
  • Record & minimise UPD on assigned Line(s).
  • Complete First Line Maintenance.
  • Tackle minor breakdowns and escalate when necessary.
  • Manage KANBAN levels of assigned Line(s).
  • Work accurately to SAP Production plan to avoid Under/Over Production.
  • Actively participate in C.I. activities, PPS sessions and Tier meetings.
  • 6S Audit Completion of assigned area.
  • Adherence to all Site Safety Policies & Procedures.
  • Reporting of accidents, unsafe conditions and behaviours.
  • Documentation compliance (control plan, pack spec).
  • SAP QM completion.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
