Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for a Machine Operator to work in the Beccles area. Various shift patterns are available.

For the successful Machine Operator, our client is offering:

• £30,000 to £33,572 per annum
• 3 shifts on a rotating basis: 6 am-2 pm, 10 am-6 pm, 2 pm-10 pm
• Or 12-hour continental shifts
• Permanent position
• 28 days of holiday including bank holidays, rising to 33
• Company Pension

The role - Machine Operator:

• Operating production machinery, carrying out tool changes
• Performing routine mechanical maintenance tasks
• Quality checking products at various stages of production
• Finding and reporting faults to the supervisor
• Filling out check/log sheets and pallet labels accurately with all relevant information
• Ensuring machines operate correctly and safely at all times

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

• Previous technical experience, e.g., machine maintenance, motor mechanic, or similar (ESSENTIAL)
• Proven competence in engineering or manufacturing environments (ESSENTIAL)
• Production/manufacturing experience, setting machines and tooling (DESIRABLE)
• Recent mechanical qualifications or experience (DESIRABLE)
