Quick Staff UK is looking to recruit an Extrusion Machine Operator for a well-established company in the Caerphilly area. This role involves operating extrusion machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mixing ingredients in an efficient and effective manner
2. Operating manufacturing machinery following safety protocols
3. Preparing appropriate samples for testing
4. Checking the quality of the finished goods
5. Clean and maintain machines to ensure optimal performance
6. Identify and report breakdowns or malfunctions
7. Complete process documentation accurately
8. Follow health & safety regulations, including PPE requirements
9. Work collaboratively with team members to resolve quality issues
10. Ensure finished products meet company and customer specifications
11. Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Key Requirements:

1. Experience of operating an extrusion machine
2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
3. Previous manufacturing experience in the plastics industry
4. Ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently
5. Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:45pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
