Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. We’re looking for Machine Operator to join us at our site in Carnaby, Bridlington.
As a Machine Operator it is your responsibility to monitor and maintain the processing of steel sections through an automated CNC system, ensuring that a quality product is safely passed to the next stage of Severfield’s fabrication process.
In this role you will be responsible for monitoring machine progress with programmes, ensuring the machine is set up with the correct material and tools, and fitting the correct tools to the programme requirements. You’ll also be responsible for checking blades, drill and other consumables are fit for purpose and replacing these when required.
To be successful in this role we would ideally like someone from a similar manufacturing environment, but we welcome applicants from a highly process driven background who also has a good understanding of Health and Safety.
