Masstemps Ltd in Bilston is seeking a Spot Welding Machine Operator to work 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, with a Friday finish at 10:00 am. The role pays £12.71 per hour and involves operating a spot welder to join steel components for construction projects.

You will lay steel rods on a circular rotating table, align them under the welder and use a foot pedal to complete welds. Training is provided if you don’t have prior spot welding experience.

Competenze

• Some previous machine operating experience.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to position and align steel rods accurately.
• Spot welding experience is not essential, as training can be provided.

Job Description:

Working on a spot welding machine manufacturing steelwork for construction sites.

As an operator you will lay the steel rods vertically and horizontally across one another on a circular rotating table, aligns them under the spot welder and uses a foot pedal to weld the pieces together.
