Machine Operator | 4 day week
East Belfast

Vickerstock are exclusively partnering Thompson's Tea (Punjana Limited) - a hugely successful 4th generation family Tea business - with the appointment of a Machine Operator for their Belfast based Production facility.

An excellent benefits package includes:

  • £25,667 per annum
  • Discretionary Performance Bonus
  • 4 days across Monday to Friday, 6am - 4.30pm (40hr week)

A typical day as Machine Operator:
Your key responsibility is to monitor and operate production equipment safely and efficiently whilst maintaining optimum quality.

  • Set up and efficient running of machines (including changeovers)
  • Following standard operating procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
  • Monitoring output efficiency
  • Conduct daily QC checks e.g. metal detection
  • Problem solving of machine errors/downtime
  • Carrying out routine maintenance, root cause analysis
  • End of line and manual packing duties


Your essential ingredients:

  • Previous machine operating experience in a fast-paced environment
  • x5 GCSE's including English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Collaborative approach/team orientated
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ideally you will have a mechanical aptitude
