Job summary

Wren Kitchens Limited in Barton-upon-Humber is seeking a motivated Trainee Machine Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will learn to read detailed technical drawings and safely control woodworking machinery across a variety of equipment.

This entry-level role offers world-class training, uncapped progression opportunities, and a supportive environment as you develop skills in CNC drilling, edge banding and production targets.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Flexibility, commitment and punctuality are essential.
• Experience in wood technology is advantageous.
• Previous production experience is beneficial.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed technical drawings to produce end products of the highest standard.
• Operate woodworking machinery including CNC drills, edge banders and glue machines.
• Undertake other warehouse duties as reasonably requested by the Manager or Supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
• Meet allocated production targets in line with the department.

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for full-time Trainee Machine Operators to join our dynamic team at our sites in Barton-upon-Humber. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and be part of a fast-paced, modern, and high-tech production environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Learn how to interpret detailed technical drawings in order to produce end products of the highest standard
• Participate in the effective and safe control of a variety of woodworking machinery including CNC drills, edge banders and glue machines
• Undertake any other Warehouse duties as reasonably requested by the Manager or Supervisor
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
• Meet allocated production targets in line with the department

About You
