Job summary

Central Recruitment Agency Ltd is seeking an experienced Machine Operative to join our established manufacturing operation in Altham. This temporary-to-permanent role involves hands-on machine operation, packing, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will work in a busy factory environment, following strict work instructions and customer specifications while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace and meeting production priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a machine in a manufacturing setting.
• Numerate and able to read and write.
• Capable of working unsupervised in a busy factory.
• Comfortable following work instructions and customer specifications.
• Maintains safety, waste and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate Slitter/Spooler machine.
• Pack products including wrapping, weighing, and labeling.
• Follow work instructions and customer specifications.
• Work to a priority list.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
• Understand all procedures relevant to the role.

Pay: £12.71 - £13.50 per hour

Central Recruitment is looking for an experienced Machine Operative worker to join a well-established Manufacturing business working in Altham area. This is temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate

Duties include:

• Operating a Slitter/Spooler machine
• Packing products, which includes wrapping, weighing and palliating goods.
• Following work instructions and customer specifications
• Working to a priority list.
• Meeting/exceeding performance standards with regards to safety/waste and quality.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• Any other duties directed by your supervisor or Manager
• To have an understand all procedures relevant to role.
