Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC in Bridgwater is seeking motivated Machine Operatives for a temp-to-perm role with full training provided. The position involves 4-on/4-off shifts (days and nights) with a starting pay of £14.06 per hour, rising to £16.71 when permanent.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role offering progression, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment with overtime at 1.5x and paid breaks.

Qualifications

• Previous production or manufacturing experience (beneficial but not essential).
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
• A reliable approach and a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour day and night shifts on a rotating 4-on, 4-off pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operating production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Learning to operate specialist manufacturing machinery.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Packing, wrapping and preparing finished products.
• Assisting with machine changeovers and general production duties.
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
• Following company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
