Job Description:

Machine Operative - Somerset

As a Machine Operative, you'll receive up to £11.66 per hour, paid fortnightly. From 7th August, this rate will increase to £12.24 per hour. There are opportunities for progression to senior Machine Operative roles and other benefits.

Main Duties:

1. Operate and oversee the daily running of packing lines.
2. Ensure machinery operates smoothly while meeting production targets.
3. Adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
4. Work as part of a motivated team, communicating best practices across shifts.
5. Provide training to new and current employees.
6. Lead product changeovers, coordinate team efforts, and report performance issues to the team leader.
