Job summary

Stateside Foods Limited is recruiting for a permanent Machine Operative in the Packing Department. The role works Monday to Friday from 13:45 to 22:00, focused on maintaining GMP and quality across all production areas.

You will set up and operate various machines, report issues, carry out basic repairs, and train colleagues while adhering to H&S and Hygiene policies. A team-oriented approach and good communication are essential.

• Set up machinery
• Operate various machines
• To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
• Carry out basic machinery repairs/replacements on wear and tear
• Build effective relationships
• Step up in the absence of the Line Leader
• Any other reasonable requests
• Support and train colleagues where necessary
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
• Ideally candidates will have worked within a similar role with the ability to work as part of a team
• Candidates should have good communication skills with the ability to work in a chilled fast paced environment

Job description

We have a permanet opportunity within our Packing Department for a Machine Operative.
The role will be working Monday to Friday 13.45 to 22.00.
The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to the correct production standards which are to include good manufacturing practices.
