Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring a Production Operative in Hortonwood with a starting pay of £15.01 per hour. The role involves packing products, labeling, and performing quality inspections, with progression opportunities as skills and training levels rise.

You will rotate with a 6:00PM–6:00AM schedule, working Week 1 and Week 2 as described, and you must be able to commit to the pattern and perform basic machine checks as you develop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' recent experience in packing operation or a busy manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Must be able to commit to the rotating shift pattern.

Job Title: Production Operative

Pay: Starting from £15.01 per hour (Level 1)

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

Excellent opportunity for progression - pay increases are achievable as specific skill sets and training levels are completed.

Shift Pattern (Weekly Rotating - 6:00PM-06:00AM )

Week 1:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (46 hours)

Week 2:

Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (34.5 hours)

Candidates must be available to work both weeks of the rota.

The Role

Your primary role will involve packing products, labelling, and conducting quality inspections. Over time, you will also be required to carry out basic machine checks and adjust settings as part of your development.
