About the Role

As a Night Shift Machine Operative, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of machinery within a manufacturing setting. Your primary goal will be to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Conducting routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Performing basic machine adjustments and minor maintenance tasks.
• Identifying and reporting any mechanical faults or production issues promptly.
• Loading and unloading materials from machines.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift operations.

Working Hours & Pay

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 22:00 - 06:00
• Pay Rate: £13.82 per hour

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills.
