Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Machine Operative to join a busy production team in Deeside. The successful candidate will operate and program industrial machinery to produce high-quality components, ensure efficient production runs and maintain safe working practices.

Hours are Mon-Fri 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, pay £13.24 per hour, paid weekly. Key responsibilities include setting up machines, loading materials, performing quality checks and collaborating with production, engineering

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming industrial machines.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production machines to specification.
• Program machines and adjust parameters to meet job requirements.
• Load and unload materials, fixtures and tooling.
• Perform routine quality checks and record production data.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and programming issues and escalate.
• Carry out planned maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy work area.
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering and quality teams to meet targets.
