Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a NIGHTS Machine Operative in Hortonwood. You will pack products, label items, and perform quality inspections during night shifts.

Initial pay is £15.01 per hour with a rotating 6pm–6am pattern. This temporary-to-permanent role requires at least 2 years in a machine operative or manufacturing environment, physical fitness for heavy lifting, and reliability as part of a small, focused night team.

• Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a Machine Operative role or busy manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Must be able to commit to the rotating shift pattern.

Location: Hortonwood

Pay: Starting Nights - £15.01 Per hour. (Level 1)

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

Shift Pattern (Weekly Rotating - Nights 6pm - 6am)

Week 1

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (46 hours)

Week 2

Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (34.5 hours)

Candidates must be available to work both weeks of the rota.

The Role

Your primary role will involve packing products, labelling, and conducting quality inspections. Over time, you will also be required to carry out basic machine checks and adjust settings as part of your development.
