Job summary

King Lifting Ltd. is seeking a Machine Mover to join our Atlas division. You will work with mobile cranes, Hiab lorry loaders, Versa Lift forklifts and hydraulic gantry systems to move high value plant and machinery across UK sites.

The role requires the ability to work away from home, follow safety procedures and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues; additional training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• CPCS card (blue or red) with Slinger/Signaller qualification is preferred.
• Lift Supervisor/Forklift/MEWP/Telehandler certs would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes, Hiab lorry loaders and Versa Lift forklifts.
• Assist in jacking and skating high value plant and machinery.
• Assist in installation of mechanical and electrical plant and perform bespoke equipment moves.
• Travel across the UK to sites and work on busy sites with initiative and professionalism.

Working within the Atlas division of King Lifting, Atlas Removals provide safe, practical and efficient solutions for plant and machinery movements. Our team consists of experienced, skilled and qualified people, utilising our own specialised handling equipment, including Versa Lifts, Forklifts, Compact Cranes, Power Lift Gantry Systems, Mobile Cranes and Transport.

We are currently seeking a Machine Mover to work with our experienced and highly skilled lifting and plant movement teams.

Ideally you will hold a CPCS blue or red card with Slinger/Signaller qualification - Lift Supervisor/Fork lift truck/MEWP/Telehandler certs would be advantageous.Additional training is available for the right candidate.

You will work with mobile cranes, Hiab lorry loaders, Versa Lift fork lifts, hydraulic gantry jacking systems and you will be involved in jacking and skating high value plant and machinery.

Our key areas of work revolve around the installation of mechanical and electrical plant, factory relocations and bespoke equipment moves.Operating in the Data Centre, Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical and Electrical Services and Construction industry.

In addition to the above, the applicant will have the following:

• Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety procedures at all times;
• Ability to work on busy sites and on own initiative;
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients; and
• Capability to carry out a physical role working long hours including time spent away from home.
