About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at IPL Inchture!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Machine Minder to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our Potato site in Inchture. If you are passionate about Operations and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4 on 2 off, Monday - Thursday (20:00pm - 06:30am) NIGHTS
• Location: IPL, Inchture - Site Based Role

Key Responsibilities:

As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of machinery within a fast-paced production environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Workplace Safety & Cleanliness: Monitoring the work area to ensure a safe environment and maintaining machinery to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Safety Checks & Maintenance: Completing daily machine safety checks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
• SOP Compliance: Supporting the implementation and ongoing adherence to SOP requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking and recording machine performance, including packs per minute (PPM), and ensuring product weights remain within specification.
• Changeovers: Carrying out product changeovers efficiently and safely, minimising downtime.
• Collaboration: Working closely with the Packaging Team and Packaging Coordinator to ensure all packaging materials are prepared and available ahead of production runs.
• Communication: Reporting issues clearly and promptly to Line Leaders and Engineers.
• Standards Adherence: Upholding ‘World Class’ operational standards at all times.
