Machine Minder London Park Royal

Salary: £34,900

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - Nights

Location: Hangar Lane, Park Royal/ Acton, West London

Industry: Award-Winning Manufacturer

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Minder to join an award-winning manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is ok with using basic hand tools and working night shifts. As a Machine Minder, you will provide practical support to the Maintenance Engineers, helping to reduce their workload and ensuring machinery is prepared for servicing efficiently.

The Role

• Taking machinery and mechanical equipment apart ready for a separate department (training provided)


• Reassembling machinery correctly


• Setting machines up


• Test runs


• Carrying out basic mechanical duties


• Working safely around industrial machinery and following site procedures.

About You

We are looking for a Machine Minder with:

• Some mechanical experience or good with DIY, and can use of basic hand tools


• Experience using basic mechanical tools (allen keys, drill for unscrewing and screwing)


• The ability to follow instructions and work methodically.


• A good understanding of health and safety when working around machinery.


• The ability to work as part of a team.


• Formal engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential if you have some experience of mechanical experience this will be good.
