Job summary

trg. in London (Remote) is seeking a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to join an empowered product team. You will build models that run in production and directly impact customers.

You will train and evaluate models in PyTorch, work with text, image and video data, and collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists to turn model outputs into real product value.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on machine learning experience
• Solid experience building and training models with PyTorch
• Strong Python skills with NumPy, pandas and scikit-learn
• In-depth experience with at least one data type: text, images, video or tabular
• Good habits around Git, experiment tracking and reproducibility
• NLP, computer vision or multimodal experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Building, training and evaluating models in PyTorch to solve real prediction problems
• Working with text, image and video data, using anything from classic ML to deep learning and LLMs
• Preparing datasets and building the features and pipelines your models need
• Running rigorous experiments and iterating quickly towards better results
• Working with product and engineering colleagues to turn model outputs into product value

The role

You'll join an empowered product team as a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer, working alongside Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists. You'll build the models behind a product used by major global brands, and see your work go into production and make a real difference to customers.
