Job summary

Sanderson is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for a 6-month contract, fully remote, with a daily rate of £550–£700 inside IR35. You will join a FTSE 100 organisation’s AI and data function to develop, deploy and scale ML solutions in a modern cloud environment.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to productionise models, build robust ML workflows, and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the business.

Machine Learning Engineer

6 Month Contract

The Opportunity

A leading FTSE 100 organisation is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its growing AI and data function. You'll play a key role in delivering machine learning solutions that support business critical initiatives across the organisation.

Working within a collaborative team of data scientists, analysts and engineers, you'll help build, deploy and enhance AI products in a modern cloud environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ideas from proof of concept through to production and wants to work with cutting edge AI technologies at enterprise scale

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business challenges.

Essential Experience

• Strong Python development skills.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience deploying machine learning solutions into production environments.
• Understanding of data processing, transformation and pipeline development.
• Experience building and maintaining end to end ML workflows.
• Solid software engineering and coding best practices.
• Exposure to modern AI and deep learning approaches including NLP and large language model related technologies.
