Role Overview

We are looking for a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to join our growing Data & AI team and shape and deliver Artificial Intelligence solutions for our public sector and enterprise clients.

As a ML Engineer, you will work with a team of data scientists, data architects, software engineers, business analysts and delivery managers to deliver innovative solutions that leverage the power of AI.

Responsibilities

  • Create and customise machine learning models (predominantly Azure AI services) for various use cases, such as natural language processing, computer vision, speech recognition, anomaly detection, etc.
  • Integrate Azure AI services with other Azure products and services, such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Azure App Service, Azure Cognitive Search etc.
  • Enable capture, ingest, process and store large volumes of data to serve AI and analytics use-cases.
  • Design and develop AI agents to create intelligent, responsive autonomous agents.
  • Optimise the performance, scalability and reliability of machine learning solutions using best practices and tools.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machine learning solutions using Azure AI Metrics Advisor, Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and clients to understand their business needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Drive thought leadership and innovation across FSP and our clients, staying up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies and best practices in AI and ML (Agentic AI, RAG, Image Generation and more).

About you

  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or software development.
  • Proficient in Python, C#, and other programming languages for data analysis, machine learning, and software development.
  • Familiar with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
  • Experience in defining and implementing MLOps best practices.
  • Experience with Azure data and analytics services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, etc.
  • Experience in designing AI solutions, along with hands-on experience in natural cutting-edge solutions to create intelligent, responsive, and adaptive virtual assistants or autonomous systems.
  • Proficient in cloud-based CI/CD processes and platforms - such as version control, automated and/or containerised deployments, automated testing, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
