Job summary

BIOVIA, part of Dassault Systèmes, seeks a senior AI/ML expert to lead materials-focused software development within Gen7. You will design and implement AI-enabled features, collaborate across dispersed teams, and drive high-quality delivery for Gen7 virtual twins of materials and reactions.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master in materials science, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, or related fields.
• Practical experience with deep learning and machine learning algorithms and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience in coding (web, cloud, algorithms, industry processes).
• Experience with modern development techniques and environments (agile, web, cloud).
• Industry experience on AI-related projects, preferably in materials domain.
• Experience working in dispersed teams; leadership experience welcome.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for a Gen7 virtual assistant specialized in materials science.
• Create software for generative materials and chemistry projects representing Gen7 virtual twins.
• Contribute to project plans for the materials AI team to deliver the roadmap.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure automated test coverage for new and existing features.
• Work with documentation to describe new features and improvements.
• Act as technical expert on Materials AI and related technologies for customers and stakeholders.
• Regularly present work to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Stay up-to-date with tools and processes and introduce them to the team.
• Foster a culture of openness, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
