We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Machine Design Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of dip molding and dip coating equipment. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of equipment design, material handling automation, and robotics, with strong mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience in designing complex automated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering and Process Development:
Design and develop equipment, tools, and processes for dip molding and dip coating.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Equipment Design & Development:
Create detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks, including PDM Vault and Simulation tools.
Develop automation solutions with a focus on material handling automation and robotics.
Perform feasibility studies, stress analysis, and tolerance stack-up calculations.
Project Execution & Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to support project objectives.
Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing machine performance.
Assist in the selection of components and materials for custom automation solutions.
Innovation and Technology Integration:
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Evaluate and recommend new materials, methods, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
Support the integration of automation and robotics into existing and new manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on machine design and automation.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, including PDM Vault and Simulation experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
Hands-on experience with material handling automation and robotics.
