Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mac Operator/Artworker to join a fast-growing, award-winning printing company based in Southend-on-Sea. This is a proofing-focused role, ideal for someone with strong technical artwork skills rather than a creative design background.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in preparing and processing customer artwork, ensuring it's ready for print production while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.

· Prepare customer artwork to print-ready standards.

· Send proofs to customers for review and approval.

· Use internal admin software to book approved jobs into the workflow.

· Preflight print files using Adobe Acrobat and Enfocus Pitstop.

Mac Operator/Artworker Skills Required:

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign.

· Knowledge of spot colours, overprint settings, and standard paper sizes is highly desirable.

· Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to proofing and prepress tasks.

· Prior experience in a print production or similar prepress environment.
