Location: Remote with adhoc visits to UK sites

Duration: 6 month contract

Our client, a leading Defence & Security company, are looking for a skilled M365 Data Migration Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves assisting with the migration of data from Network Drives to One-Drive and SharePoint Online. The position is remote but requires the flexibility to travel to any UK Leonardo site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data migration projects from Network Drives to One-Drive and SharePoint Online
• Utilise migration tools, particularly Sharegate, to transfer data efficiently
• Ensure the smooth transfer of data for over 5,000 users
• Collaborate with IT and project management teams to meet migration objectives
• Provide troubleshooting and support during the migration process
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and users throughout the migration
• Document migration processes and outcomes for future reference
• Be available for weekend and evening work as required to minimise disruption

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in M365 data migration, especially for enterprise-level environments
• Hands-on experience migrating network drive data to OneDrive for Business for 5,000+ users
• Strong expertise with migration tools, ideally ShareGate
• Comfortable working outside of standard business hours (evenings/weekends) to support migration windows
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills

Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
