M365 & Azure Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Exeter & Home-Based

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

Clearance Required: SC

We are seeking a highly experienced M365 & Azure Engineer to support the growth of our services and deliver high-value solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge in designing, configuring, and automating Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, with a strong focus on security, particularly the Microsoft Defender suite.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain M365 and Azure-based services
2. Automate tenant configuration and ongoing maintenance
3. Develop secure solutions using DevSecOps principles
4. Produce design documentation, policies, and technical artefacts
5. Provide consultancy and support to customers

Essential Skills:

1. Expert knowledge of M365 and Azure
2. Strong understanding of M365/Azure security architecture
3. Experience with Intune and Windows Server
4. Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible)
5. Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable Experience:

1. Service desk software, VMware/VDI, SQL Server, Linux
2. Networking (Cisco/HP), Fortinet/Cisco firewalls, SANs
3. AWS architecture, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps
4. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCNA/CCNP)
