Working Hours: Full-time (MondayFriday) with participation in a 24/7 on-call rota
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

EQUANS is recruiting for an experienced M&E Supervisor to lead the delivery of mechanical, electrical, fabric, and grounds maintenance services across the University of West London contract. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll manage in-house engineers and subcontractors to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all reactive and planned maintenance activities (PPM), ensuring delivery meets service level agreements and KPIs

Monitor and update CAFM systems accurately, ensuring data integrity and performance tracking

Lead audits and inspections of assets and compliance documentation, including condition surveys

Manage small works and remedial tasks from initial identification through to completion

Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, health & safety regulations, and internal procedures

Maintain current COSHH records, risk assessments, and site documentation

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld

Liaise with the client, internal teams, and stakeholders, attending meetings as required

Support health & safety objectives by chairing or contributing to monthly site safety meetings

Provide technical support and act as a point of escalation during emergency situations

Oversee the grounds maintenance team and provide support across all UWL campuses

Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, ensuring continuity of service during evenings, weekends, and holidays
