RTL Group Ltd in Cornwall is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical installation on a major substation project. You will ensure safe, compliant delivery on site, aligned with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to coordinate subcontractors and site teams, and to maintain RAMS, permits and quality records.

• Previous experience as an M&E Site Manager on substation, energy or power infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation activities within a substation environment.
• Relevant National Grid / client authorisations and tickets, including SR163 where required.
• Understanding of site safety procedures, permits to work and RAMS.
• SMSTS and First Aid.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts effectively.

M&E Site Manager - Substation / Energy

Location: Cornwall

We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a major substation project in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract working on a significant energy infrastructure scheme, with an immediate start available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical and electrical installation activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, programme requirements and industry standards.

Applicants must have previous experience working within the energy sector, ideally on National Grid or utility substation projects, and hold the relevant industry tickets and authorisations required for the role.

Key Responsibilities:
