M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer

Location: Luxurious Complex, Victoria, London

Salary: £50,000 per annum + Overtime & Benefits

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift

Are you an experienced M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity in a high-end commercial environment?

We are seeking a skilled Electrical or Mechanical biased engineer to join a professional maintenance team at a prestigious complex in Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a luxury setting, with excellent benefits and career growth opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:

Carry out planned & reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems

Work in accordance with PPM schedules and company procedures

Troubleshoot and repair electrical installations, HVAC systems, plumbing, and controls

Respond to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and perform emergency repairs

Maintain high engineering standards to ensure efficient plant operation

Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures

Complete and update tasks on the CAFM system

Provide technical reports and escalate major site issues as needed

Support and deputise for the Shift Leader when required

What You’ll Need:

City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (for electrical bias)

Approved apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in Building Services

Strong fault-finding skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems

L8 Training and a solid understanding of domestic water systems (preferred)

Experience in high-end commercial/mixed developments

Proactive mindset with strong communication skills
