Qualifications

  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation competent
  • HV Approved Person required

Responsibilities

M&E Shift Engineer – Surrey| £56,000

Location:Longcross, Surrey

Salary:£51,000 + £3,000 HVAP + £1,500 Bonus

Hours:Continental Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and Reactive Maintenance tasks

Respond to emergency callouts as required

Complete logbooks and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)

Conduct emergency lighting testing

Lighting, wiring, alarm systems, BMS, heat exchangers

UPS Systems, HV/LV Systems, generators, and controls

AC/DC single-phase & three-phase motors

Maintain air conditioning systems (DX, chilled water, adiabatic AHUs)

Perform general building maintenance (e.g., drainage, tiling, sinks)

Engineers must have a solid understanding of AHUs, FCUs, UPS, Generators, and LV systems, including the ability to fault-find and troubleshoot effectively.

Requirements:

Trade-qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Building Services

City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of building services systems

Excellent client-facing skills

18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation competent

HV Approved Person
