  • Commercial vetting of subcontractor tenders.
  • Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations.
  • Ensure commercial processes adherence at project level.
  • Assist in project purchasing targeting and budgets.

Overview

M&E QS - Up to £80,000 + Package - Oxford

I'm currently working with one of the leading M&E Contractors who have secured a £30 million project based in Central Oxford. They are now recruiting for a Senior M&E QS to join their solid team of surveyors and take a lead on this project. Experience working for a top 10 M&E Contractor would be ideal along with experience within Data Centres and Life Science projects. This company offers a great package on top of a highly competitive salary & benefits. Experience taking a lead on projects valued up to £20million MEP is required at this level.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
  • Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
  • Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
  • Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
  • Prepare, submit and negotiate project final accounts.
  • Commercial vetting of sub contractor tenders and contracts.
  • Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
  • Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
  • Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
