M&E Quantity Surveyor

A great opportunity for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join this Tier 1 Main Contractor on their new £60m project.

About the role of M&E Quantity Surveyor

In this role, you will be working with a leading M&E Contractor on a £60m project in the Maidstone area. You will serve as the M&E lead working on a modular build.

Responsibilities for M&E Quantity Surveyor

• Feasibility, pricing, and forecasting the costs of materials needed for the project.
• Preparing contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
• Liaising with clients and contractors to meet budget requirements.
• Managing cash flow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
• Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVRs.
• Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
• Ensuring the month-on-month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded.

Requirements for M&E Quantity Surveyor

• Experience in managing high-value M&E projects commercially.
• Experience with hospitals, laboratories, and residential projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of M&E Quantity Surveying and construction costs.
• An understanding of NEC contracts.
