Job summary

Vincent Gurney Ltd in Dartford, Kent, is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects from tender to final account on challenging installation projects.

You will prepare cost estimates, analyse drawings, procure subcontractors, and produce commercial reports while working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver cost-effective M&E solutions. A UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E quantity surveying on mechanical, electrical and public health projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for take-offs and pricing.
• Proven track record in preparing tender submissions and cost reports.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, or Estimator within M&E.
• HNC in Quantity Surveying (HND preferred).
• Experience working on Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health projects.
• Ability to interpret M&E drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Electrical background with City & Guilds 2357 / NVQ Level 3 (desirable).
