We have an excellent opportunity for an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a fast-growing contractor in Central London. This role is ideal for someone with 4-5 years' experience and a drive to progress and grow with a company.

About the company:

Established company of 30 years that is now looking to skyrocket in the M&E London market. Originally based out of Bristol but now moving to central London with 4 projects already ongoing and many in the pipeline.

This role:

In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Director, acting as the MEP counterpart, which will allow you to have a significant impact on the projects and the division's overall success

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for M&E projects, including labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with financial forecasts.
• Prepare and analyse tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contracts for M&E works.
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts to provide stakeholders with updates on project financial performance.
• Assist in the procurement of materials, labour, and subcontractors, negotiating terms and prices to optimize costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential. Some universities offer specialised programs focusing specifically on M&E disciplines.
