Job summary

A leading company is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their team, specializing in Pharma, Data Center, and semiconductor projects. You'll be responsible for managing project schedules, assisting project managers, and ensuring compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will have considerable experience in Mechanical/Process Engineering planning and relevant qualifications in scheduling tools.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in a planning Mechanical/Process Engineering role.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project schedules including design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Monitor project progress and report to stakeholders.

Job Description

Mane are looking for an experienced Project Planner to work with their client.

The client is heavily involved in Pharma, Data Center or semi conductor projects so experience in these sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production, development and management of project schedules. (Design, Pre-construction, Procurement, Offsite fabrication, Construction and Commissioning).
  • Working on and assisting project managers to develop accurate programme of works files.
  • Generating Labour histograms, progress reports and for team, management, client, and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and report on project progress.
  • Identify any issues in the planning process and assist in solving to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Working with multiple teams across different sectors.
  • Responsibility for compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Liaising with Directors, Management and Project team.
  • Assisting with company expansion plans.
  • Identifying workface stacking, delays and prolongation, and support with associated claims and demonstration.

Candidate requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in a planning Mechanical/Process Engineering role within the construction industry.
  • Relevant Qualification in Primavera P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.
  • Self-motivated organized individual.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills, Scheduling and time management.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 suite of programs.
