An established industry player is urgently seeking experienced M&E Project Managers to oversee a range of projects across the North of England. This role demands a flexible approach to travel and a strong technical background in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplines. As the M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full accountability of project P&L, risk management, and ensuring compliance with project management policies. Job description

M&E Project Manager

Location: Leeds
Start date: 04th January 2021 (Contract initially 3 months)
Day rate: £250 - £300 per day

Candidates must have a flexible approach to travelling

Urgently looking for experienced M&E Project Managers to assist the delivery of a variety of projects across sites in the North of England.

Key responsibilities for the M&E Project Manager include but are not limited to:
  1. Identify and generate project work opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts.
  2. Full accountability for the P&L on each project.
  3. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”, including estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management, and site management duties.
  4. Identify, reduce, and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project.
  5. Work with developers, designers, and sub-contractors to define and document the scope of work.
  6. Develop and understand the full scope of works aligned with the project business case and desired outcomes, within budget and profit margins.
  7. Manage, run, and prepare tenders on behalf of the customer as required.
  8. Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.
  9. Agree on payment schedules and applications for payment.
  10. Provide monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Sector Director.

The successful candidates must come from a technical background, either in Mechanical or Electrical.

Due to the nature of the contract, security clearance will be required.
